Preliminary Work (Adaptive Seat With Air Cushion)

Information 

Different preliminary work is required, depending on the equipment variant.

  1. Remove air cushion for seat. → Removing Air Cushion For Seat  .
  2. Remove seat-belt buckle. → REMOVING FRONT SEAT-BELT BUCKLE
  3. Remove front seat extension. →
  4. Remove control unit for memory seat adjustment (only for seats without active seat ventilation). → Removing Control Unit For Memory Seat Adjustment  .
  5. Remove occupant detection control unit (passenger seat only for USA/Canada and Mexico vehicles). → REMOVING OCCUPANT DETECTION CONTROL UNIT .
  6. Remove wire harness for electrically adjustable seat at the seat frame. → REMOVING WIRE HARNESS FOR POWER SEATS .
