Removing Wire Harness For Seat Surface (Front Seat)

Information 

The description covers the three-part wire harness for seat surface with memory. Certain plug connections are not present on the two-part wire harness without memory.

  1. X  - Wire harness for control unit for memory seat adjustment - seat adjustment motors
  2. Y  - Wire harness for seat adjustment switch - control unit for memory seat adjustment
  3. Z  - Wire harness for central connector - suction fan for seat surface and backrest
  1. Connector (grey) for control unit for memory seat adjustment (with memory only)
  2. Connector for seat adjustment motor
  3. Connector for motor for rear vertical adjustment
  4. Connector for motor for front vertical adjustment
  5. Connector (black) for control unit for memory seat adjustment (with memory only)
  6. Connector for seat adjustment switch
  7. Central connector
  8. Connector for suction fan for seat surface
  9. Connector for seat surface heating
  10. Connector for middle backrest heating
  11. Connector for suction fan for backrest
  12. Line bracket
  13. Tie-wraps
  1. Release and pull off connector -2-  on seat adjustment motor. → Removing Motor For Seat Adjustment - section on "Removing"
  2. Release and pull off connector -3-  on motor for rear vertical adjustment. → Removing Motor For Rear Vertical Adjustment - section on "Removing"
  3. Release and pull off connector -4-  on motor for front vertical adjustment. → Removing Motor For Front Vertical Adjustment - section on "Removing"
  4. Take off tie-wraps -13-  and remove wire harness -X-  .
  5. Release and pull off connector -6-  on seat adjustment switch. → Removing Control Module Trim Panel - section on "Removing"
  6. Take off tie-wraps -13-  and remove wire harness -Y-  .
  7. Remove tie-wrap -2-  on the connector socket -1-  .

  8. Release connector socket -1-  (-arrows a-  ) and remove the three single connectors -3-  .
  9. Release connector for seat surface heating -9-  (-arrows A-  ) and pull it off -arrow B-  .

  10. Release connector on suction fan for backrest -11-  (-arrow A-  ) and pull it off -arrow B-  .

  11. Take off tie-wraps -13-  and remove wire harness -Z-  by pulling it downwards -arrow C-  .
  12. Take wire harness -Z-  at the underside of the seat out of the line brackets -12-  and remove it.
