Diagnostic Procedure

- STEP 1. Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) data list
Refer to DATA LIST REFERENCE TABLE .
- Item 33: Line pressure solenoid output current
- Item 32: Line pressure solenoid monitoring current
OK: Check if the output current and monitoring current differ largely.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Intermittent malfunction
- NO: Go to Step 2.
- STEP 2. Check for open circuit and short to ground in PLLS line between the TCM connector and the CVT assembly connector.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 3.
- NO: Repair the wiring harness.
- STEP 3. Line pressure solenoid valve single unit check
Refer to SOLENOID VALVE CHECK .
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 4.
- NO: Replace the valve body assembly.
- STEP 4. Symptom recheck after erasing diagnostic trouble code
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Intermittent malfunction
- NO: Replace TCM.
