REP-TAT-P-2435-25 Replacing the transmission input-RPM sensor (GA8G45 / F22AW)

NOTE:
When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!
Necessary preliminary work:
- Refer to DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY GROUND LEAD
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE PORT
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING
- Refer to REMOVING CROSS CONNECTION
- Drain the oil from the transmission.
- Refer to REMOVING FAN COWL WITH ELECTRIC FAN
- Detach the transmission oil cooler from the transmission.
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER (OIL PAN) FOR THE SWITCHING DEVICE
- Refer to DETACHING THE SWITCHING DEVICE (GA8G45 / F22AW)
- Replacing the transmission input-RPM sensor (GA8G45 / F22AW)
- Release the screw (2).
- Remove the transmission input-RPM sensor (1).
Parts: Gearbox input-speed sensor
- Install new transmission input-RPM sensor (1).
- Tighten down screw (2).

- Fasten the transmission oil cooler on the transmission. Tightening torque: 24 11 4AZ .
