Removing and installing/replacing right glove compartment with housing (Cooper Convertible)

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove SIDE PANEL on dashboard on right.
Removal:
Pull out covers (1) and release the underlying screws (2).
Unscrew the screws (1).
Remove glove compartment (2) inwards and disconnect associated plug connections.
Installation:
When replacing, swap over the following parts:
- Install GLOVE COMPARTMENT DAMPER .
- Install GLOVE COMPARTMENT COVER .
- Install GLOVEBOX LIGHT
Connect associated connector and connect air hose if required.
Insert glove compartment (2) and tighten with screws (1).
Tighten down screws (2).
Clip in the covers (1).
Required follow-up work:
- Install right SIDE PANEL on dashboard.
