Removing and installing/replacing glove compartment cover (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove right GLOVE COMPARTMENT with housing.

Removal:

Release damper (1) from retainer (2) and twist approx. 40° in arrow direction.

Release hinge bolt (1) from stop and twist until hinge bolt (1) can be pulled out.

Repeat process on second hinge bolt (1).

Feed out glove box lid.

Installation:

Feed in glove box lid.

Insert hinge bolt (1) and clip in to stop.

Repeat procedure for second hinge bolt (1).

Required follow-up work:

Install right GLOVE COMPARTMENT with housing.
