Removing and installing/replacing cover for left or right luggage compartment

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove trunk wheel arch panel. Refer to: LEFT TRUNK WHEEL ARCH TRIM  andRIGHT TRUNK WHEEL ARCH PANEL .
• Remove D-pillar trim panel. Refer to: LEFT D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL  andRIGHT D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
• Remove the ROLLER COVER  for luggage compartment
• Remove c-pillar TRIM PANEL .
• Remove ARMREST SIDE SECTION .

Removal: 

Remove expanding rivet (1).

Pry out cover (2) with special tool 00 9 325 to the front.

Unscrew the screws (1).

Feed out shoulder cover (2) upwards out of edge protection (3).

If possible, disconnect plug connection and remove the shoulder cover (2).

Installation: 

Install shoulder cover (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 47 1AZ .

Insert and mount cover (2) at the bottom into the guides.

Mount expanding rivets (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install trunk wheel arch panel. Refer to: LEFT TRUNK WHEEL ARCH TRIM  andRIGHT TRUNK WHEEL ARCH PANEL .
• Install trim panel for D-pillar. Refer to: LEFT D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL  andRIGHT D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .

• Install the c-pillar TRIM PANEL .
• Install BACKREST SIDE SECTION .
• Install ROLLER COVER  for luggage compartment.
