REP-TAT-P-5434-01 Removing the convertible top brace

Preliminary work 

• Open LOADING AID 
• Remove the TRIM STRIP  on the convertible top
• Remove the SEAL  on the convertible top brace
• Remove both CONVERTIBLE TOP BRACE LOCKS 

• Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) on the rear window heating.
• Remove the wiring harness (3) from the tension strap loops (2).

  NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
• Drill out the rivet (1) on the headlining (2).

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Unclip the connector (2) from the convertible top brace bearing (3).

• Lever out the protective cap (1) on the left and right.

• Loosen left and right screw (1).

• Carefully pull out the convertible top fabric (1) from the convertible top brace (2).
