54 34 120 Replacing electro-hydraulic soft top frame

Replacing the electro-hydraulic soft top frame comprises the following tasks:
- Partially remove SOFT TOP COVER
- Do not remove soft top cover from tension bar
- Remove ROOFLINER in soft top on left and right
- Remove both tension straps (R52 only)
- Remove EH SOFT TOP without tension bar
- Do not release tensioning bar from bearings
- Remove HYDRAULIC CYLINDER FOR SOFT TOP
- If necessary, remove ROOF CROSSBAR
NOTE:
- Refer to OVERVIEW OF MECHANICAL SOFT TOP COMPONENTS
- Read and comply with NOTES ON SOFT TOP
- New soft top frame is supplied with wiring harness
Installation:
- Adjust soft top
- Carry out FUNCTION CHECK
