51 41 001 Replacing front left or right door trim

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove speaker. See 65 13 070 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPEAKER .
Remove switch for exterior rearview mirror. See 61 31 255 REPLACING SWITCH FOR DOOR MIRROR .
Remove inside door opener in front door. See 51 21 225 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Inside Door Opener In Left Or Right Front Door .
Remove door handle in front door trim panel. See 51 41 019 Removing And Installing/Replacing Door Handle On Door Trim Panel, Front Left Or Right .

Lever out trim for locking knob.

If necessary, lever out airbag emblem.

Lever out catches (1)

Lever out speaker frame (2) with guide (3) from door trim (4) and remove.
