11 34 715 Replacing all valve springs (S63T 0)

Special tools required: 

• 11 4 480
• 11 8 840
• 11 9 000
• 11 9 006
• 11 9 008
• 11 9 001
• 11 9 005

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove LEFT CYLINDER HEAD .
• Remove RIGHT CYLINDER HEAD .
• Remove camshafts. See See 11 31 036 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT EXHAUST CAMSHAFT (S63T 0) , 11 31 038 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT EXHAUST CAMSHAFT (S63T 0) , 11 31 032 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING THE LEFT INTAKE CAMSHAFT (S63T0)  and 11 31 034 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT INTAKE CAMSHAFT (S63T 0) .
• Remove eccentric shafts. See 11 37 008 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT ECCENTRIC SHAFT (S63T 0)  and 11 37 006 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT ECCENTRIC SHAFT (S63T 0) .

Mount cylinder head (1) on special tool 11 9 001 .

Prepare special tool 11 9 008 .

Position special tool 11 9 006 with silicone cushion on cylinder head.

Move the lock 11 9 005 in direction of arrow and pre-tension with eccentric.

Press down valve spring with special tool 11 8 840 .

Remove valve cotters (1) with a magnet.

Place valve springs and valve keys on special tool 11 4 480 in an orderly manner.

Arrangement:

1. Valve
2. Valve stem seal with spring cup, bottom
3. Valve spring
4. Top spring cup
5. Valve keys

Assemble engine.
