51 41 001 Replacing left or right front door trim panel

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Modify DECORATIVE STRIP
- Modify SWITCH COVER
- Install speaker covers. See REPLACING SPEAKER TRIM (MID-RANGE SPEAKER) and REPLACING SPEAKER COVER (TWEETER) .
- Modify TWEETER
Unhook Bowden cable for release lever:
- Lever out lock (2).
- Detach Bowden cable (3) towards rear/top.
Installation note:
Press release lever (1) for installation opposite to direction of arrow on door trim panel.
