51 41... Replacing speaker trim (mid-range speaker) on left or right front door trim panel

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

IMPORTANT: Speaker trim is welded to door trim panel only on initial installation.
Only drill down to door trim panel area so as not to damage the contact surface.

Drill out welding spots (1) on door trim panel with 8 mm dia. welding spot drill bit.

Remove speaker trim.

Remove welding remains on door trim panel with scalpel (for heavy duty use).

Installation: 

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage.
Carefully insert speaker trim (1) area (A and B) into door trim panel (2).
Press door trim panel (2) in area (A) a little to the side so that speaker trim (1) can be inserted without being damaged.

Secure pins (1) with nuts (2).

NOTE: Carefully apply nuts (2) so that they do not get over revved.

Saw off all pins (1) to dimension (X) (risk of damage of sound insulation).

Dimension (X) = 2 mm

IMPORTANT: Do not clip off pins (1) with diagonal cutting pliers, as the pins become deformed by this and the nuts (2) can come loose.
To not drop below dimension (X) while sawing off, insert suitable washer and saw off pins (1) above washer.
