51 16 180 Removing and installing (replacing) center console support

Special tools required: 

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Procedure with installed center armrest storage compartment: 

Procedure with removed center armrest storage compartment: 

Release center screws (1) from center console support (2).

Tightening torque 51 16 24AZ .

Release front screws (1) from center console support (2).

Tightening torque 51 16 10AZ .

F12 only: 

Unlock remaining plug connections and disconnect.

Feed wiring harness out of center console support and remove center console support.

Replacement
