51 12 157 Replacing rear bumper trim

NOTE: Pictures created using the X6 3.0i as an example. There may be differences in detail in the case of other models.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR BUMPER TRIM
Remove REAR REFLECTOR WITH REAR FOG LIGHT

Version with Park Distance Control (PDC):

Remove ultrasonic transducer (1). See REAR MIDDLE LEFT SENSOR , REAR MIDDLE RIGHT SENSOR , REAR RIGHT SENSOR and REAR LEFT SENSOR .

Unclip wiring harness (2).

Installation:

Check wiring harness for damage, replace if necessary.

Make sure wiring harness is correctly seated.

Remove PANEL FROM BUMPER SIDE SECTION (1) .

Remove LOWER BUMPER TRIM SECTION (2) .
