13 71 030 Removing and installing/replacing both intake silencer housings (N63 hybrid)

High-voltage system - danger to life!
WARNING:
The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:
- DE-ENERGIZE THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM
- Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for handling with hybrid vehicles
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Turn off ignition
- Remove POWER ELECTRONICS BOX BRACKET .
- Remove TENSION STRUTS on left and right
- REMOVE HEAT SHIELD
- Remove INTAKE HOSE
NOTE:
Description relates to the left intake filter housing. Procedure for the right side is identical.
Release clamps (1).
Disconnect plug (2) on air-mass sensor.
Release clip (3).
Remove intake filter housing by pulling upwards.
Reassemble the vehicle.
