	Remove/install
1	Lower rear axle until tension strut (1) is accessible.		AR35.10-P-0010S
2	Detach tension strut (1) from wheel carrier (2).	Screw/Nut, strut rod to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1002-03O

3	Detach tension strut (1) from rear axle carrier (3) and remove tension strut (1).	Screw/Nut, strut rod to rear axle carrier	*BA35.20-P-1001-03O

	Check
4	Check strut rod (1) for condition and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓
		replace the strut rod (1).
5	Check elastomer bearing in wheel carrier (2) for condition and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ replace elastomer bearing in wheel carrier (2). Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 279, 656 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Replace wheel carrier (2). Model 223 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)	AR35.20-P-3402S
			AR35.20-P-0115S
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Measure
7	Perform wheel alignment measurement.		AR40.20-P-0200S
