	Remove
1	Remove tension strut from wheel carrier (1) and slide upwards.	Do not remove rear axle.	AR35.20-P-0111S
2	Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (2) with rolling-element bearing grease.
	High temperature antifriction bearing grease (NLGI grade 2)		BB00.40-P-0265-01A

3	Position extraction and insertion tool (2) on wheel carrier (1) and elastomer bearing (3) as shown.	The spindle (205 589 01 43 02), washer (205 589 01 43 05) and washer (205 589 01 43 06) from the extraction and insertion tool are required. Extraction and insertion tool	Fig 2

4	Pull elastomer bearing (3) out of wheel carrier (1) and remove.
	Install
5	Clean bearing seat in wheel carrier (1).
6	Coat new elastomer bearing (3) with insertion agent.	Mobil Vacuoline 137 insertion agent, 0.5 L	*BR00.45-Z-1097-06A
7	Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (2) again with rolling-element bearing grease.

8	Position extraction and insertion tool (2) with new elastomer bearing (3) as shown on wheel carrier (1).	The spindle (205 589 01 43 02), washer (205 589 01 43 05) and washer (205 589 01 43 06) from the extraction and insertion tool are required. Extraction and insertion tool	Fig 2

9	Pull new elastomer bearing (3) into wheel carrier (1).	Pull elastomer bearing (3) in until protrusion at wheel carrier (1) is equal on both sides. The elastomer bearing (3) must be seated centrally in the wheel carrier (1).
10	Remove extraction and insertion tool (2).
11	Mount tension strut onto wheel carrier (1).		AR35.20-P-0111S
