	Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A

	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of transmitter range.
2	Remove left charge air pipe (4).		AR09.41-P-1333SVZ
3	Unclip electrical connector for left lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/3x1) from holder.
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector of left lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/3x1).
5	Remove clamp (5).	Replace the clamp (5).
		Screw, Exhaust system to Exhaust gas turbocharger	*BA49.10-P-1002-02Y
6	Remove rear and center lower engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105S
		Only install rear and center lower engine compartment lining after final testing.
7	Unclip electrical connector for left lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/5x1) from holder.
8	Release and disconnect electrical connector of left lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/5x1).
9	Remove screws (6).	Screw, Exhaust system bracket to transmission	*BA49.10-P-1004-02Y
10	Remove clamp (7) and remove left catalytic converter (1) downwards.	Replace clamp (7).
		Clamp, front exhaust system to center exhaust line	*BA49.10-P-1013-02Y
11	Remove lambda sensor (G3/3).	When replacing left catalytic converter (1).

12	Remove lambda sensor (G3/5).	When replacing left catalytic converter (1).
			AR07.04-P-0082SVZ
13	Remove combustion and corrosion residues on flange connections.
14	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
15	Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system.	If there are problems, ↓ Re-align the exhaust system.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
16	Perform engine test run and in this connection check exhaust system for leaks.
