| 1 | Fully close side window of corresponding rear door. | ||
| 2 | Remove rear door module. | AR72.12-P-0103SG | |
| 3 | Secure side window using collet against falling down. | Fig 1 | |
| 4 | Unlock emergency lock (2) of side window using suitable screwdriver and secure side window in this connection against falling down with aid of two helpers. | If side window lowers, ↓ lift side window and readjust collet. |

| 5 | Remove nuts (3). | ||
| 6 | Actuate emergency actuations at valve unit (Y70/1, Y70/2) and lower window lifter (1). | ||
| 7 | Loosen nuts (4). | ||
| 8 | Lift window lifter (1) at rear and remove. | ||
| 9 | Additionally secure side window from underneath against falling down using suitable support. | ||
| Install | |||
| 10 | Remove additional support for side window. | ||
| 11 | Insert window lifter (1) and position. | ||
| 12 | Actuate emergency actuations at valve unit (Y70/1, Y70/2) and raise window lifter by hand/until emergency lock (2) locks. | ||
| 13 | Carefully lift window lifter (1) until window lifter (1) is in contact with lower edge of side window. | ||
| 14 | Center window lifter (1) at side window in longitudinal direction. | Otherwise the window guides may be damaged. |

| 15 | Attach nuts (3) and slightly tighten up to contact surface. | ||

| 17 | Attach nuts (4) and slightly tighten up to contact surface. | ||
| 18 | Remove collet; in this connection, secure side window against falling with aid of two helpers. | ||
| 19 | Connect rear door control unit and door wiring harness. | ||

| 21 | Adjust height of rear door side window. | AR67.30-P-0016-01SG | |
| 22 | Lower window lifter (1) via emergency actuation at valve unit (Y70/1, Y70/2). | ||

| 25 | Carefully raise and lower window lifter (1) at rear door. | ||

| 26 | Remove door wiring harness with rear door control unit. | ||
