INSPECT Check
Check rear door adjustment. IMPORTANT A correct adjustment of the rear door is the prerequisite for the adjustment of the rear door side window (1). AR72.12-P-0650MFC
Affix tapes (arrows), as shown, so that they are flush with upper edge of rear door side window (1). IMPORTANT Attach tapes (arrows) as far apart as possible.
Fully lower rear door side window (1) and then raise again to top end position.
Close rear door.
Apply markings to tapes (arrows) at lower edge of roof paneling. NOTES
Ensure that roof frame seal is not pressed in during application of markings.
An incorrect window guide depth will otherwise be determined.

Determine dimension (b). IMPORTANT Determine dimension (b) at two locations that are as far apart as possible. A taper of dimension (b) of max. 1 mm is permitted from top to bottom.
Determine dimension (c). IMPORTANT Determine dimension (c) at two points at large distance if possible.
Determine dimension (e).
Open rear door.
Determine dimensions (a).
Lock door lock of the rear door with a suitable tool. IMPORTANT The rear door side window (1) is thus raised to topmost position.
Determine dimension (d).
Unlock rear door lock by actuating inside door handle.
Compare dimensions (a, b, c, d, e) with specified values. IMPORTANT Note deviations between actual and specified values.
