| 5 | Remove steering column tube from crossmember (1) and secure against falling down. | AR46.10-D-0400TS | |

| 7 | Cut through line bracket (5) and disconnect electrical wiring harness (6) from electrical wiring harness (7). | Model 907 with code HH2 (Electrically powered hot-air auxiliary heater) |

| 8 | Disconnect electrical connector (8) from airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit. | ||
| 9 | Disconnect electrical connector (9) from blower regulator. | ||
| 10 | Remove screws (11). | ||
| 11 | Remove air ducts (12). | ||
| 12 | Remove bolts (13). | ||
| 13 | Remove screw (14). | Model 907 with code H00 (Hot-air duct to passenger compartment) |

| 15 | Unclip bracket (21) from crossmember (1) (arrows A) and bring out of the working area. | ||

| 16 | Expose electrical main wiring harness (10) and electrical wiring harness (10.1) and release from crossmember (1). | Fig 1 | |

| 19 | Release crossmember (1) and pull toward the rear slightly. | ||
| 20 | Pull electrical wiring harness (10.1) in the direction of the (arrow B) between the crossmember (1) and the air conditioner housing. | ||
| 21 | Pull electrical main wiring harness (10) slightly in the direction of the front passenger side and pull downward over the crossmember (1). | Handle main wiring harness (10) carefully. Otherwise, damage to the electrical main wiring harness (10) may occur. |

| 22 | Lift crossmember (1) over the electrical main wiring harness (10) and lay down outside the vehicle. | ||
| 23 | Remove voltage converter (4) including the bracket from the crossmember (1). | Model 907 with code EE1 (230 V socket) Model 907 with code EE3 (115 V socket) When replacing crossmember (1). |
