The digital outputs are used to set digital signals (0 or 1), and they can be set by the integrated software. The functionality of the digital outputs is provided by the driver modules TLE94110EL.
The MB Advanced Control control unit (N175) can operate 29 digital outputs.
Along with the 29 digital outputs, a further output exists for the PSM wake-up signal.
The MBAC can operate up to 14 PWM outputs. PWM outputs are used, e.g. to dim a light or to control the speed of simple motors.
Parameters for digital outputs
The digital outputs can provide a rated current of 200 mA and 12 V (High-Side).
Parameters for PSM wake-up signal
The digital output for the PSM wake-up signal has a maximum output resistance of 1 kOhm.
The digital output for the PSM wake-up signal has a maximum output current of 30 mA.
The digital output for the PSM wake-up signal can switch 12 V (High-Side).
Parameters for PWM outputs
The PWM outputs switch to the high side (terminal 30).
All PWM outputs together provide a maximum output of 200 watts. The frequency of the PWM outputs is 200 Hz with a tolerance of ± 10 %.
The "duty cycle" for the PWM outputs can be changed in steps of 0.1 % with a tolerance of ±5 %.
