1	Remove front floor covering
			AR68.30-S-0003E
	Install
2	Install fuse and relay module, front passenger footwell (K40/12), as shown	Check electrical wiring harnesses are correctly routed. Otherwise, the electrical system may be damaged To do so, use mounting material from scope of supply.
3	Mount plus line (1) of electrical wiring harness (4) to positive pole A8 of pre-fuse box (F1)	Check for correct routing of plus line (1). Otherwise, the electrical system may be damaged M6	*BA00.10-Z-1002-01KOA
4	Install parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16) into holder of left seat console
5	Route electrical wiring harness (4) from fuse and relay module in front passenger footwell (K40/12) along vehicle wiring harness to the parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16)	Check electrical wiring harnesses are correctly routed. Otherwise, the electrical system may be damaged.
6	Mount brown line of electrical wiring harness (4) to ground point for firewall in left of vehicle interior (W43/1)	Check routing of brown line. Otherwise, the electrical system may be damaged M6	*BA00.10-Z-1002-01KOA
7	Connect gray 15-pin electrical connection of electrical wiring harness (4) to parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16)
8	Connect black 32-pin electrical connection of electrical wiring harness (4) to parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16)
9	Route electrical wiring harness (4) from parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16) to electrical connection for potential distributor on interior CAN (CAN B) (X301) and along the vehicle wiring harness	Check electrical wiring harnesses are correctly routed. Otherwise, the electrical system may be damaged.
10	Insert black 2-pin electrical connection of electrical wiring harness (4) into slot 11 of potential distributor on interior CAN (CAN B) (X301)
11	Install in the reverse sequence	Operation step 1.
12	Enter special equipment via Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)	Designation of corresponding special equipment: Code ED5 (Parameterizable special module).
13	Connect diagnostic system and read out fault memory
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-S-2000-04E
14	Commission parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16)
	Programming of control units	Under the menu item "Control unit adaptations", follow the instructions for "Initial startup".	AR54.21-S-0014E
15	Perform SCN coding on signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) control unit (N10/1)
	SCN coding of control units	Under the "Control unit adaptations" menu item follow the instructions for "SCN coding".	AR54.21-S-0015E
16	Perform SCN coding on electronic ignition lock control unit (EIS) (N73)
