	Remove/install
1	Remove trim at side of instrument panel on driver's side.		AR68.10-S-1503E
2	Remove cover below instrument panel on driver's side.	Model 447.6/7 with code LC7 (Illumination for front footwell) Model 447.8, 448	AR68.10-S-1500E
3	Remove release handle of hood cable (8).		AR88.40-S-3150E
4	Remove expansion rivet (5).	Check the expansion rivet (5) for damage.
		Clip remover If damage is present: ↓ replace expansion rivet (5).	Fig 1
5	Remove nuts (6).
6	Remove the holder (1) from the A-pillar (7).	To do so, guide the hood cable (8) through the holder (1).
7	Remove retaining clip (9).	Check retaining clip (9) for damage.
		Clip remover If damage is present: ↓ Replace retaining clip (9).	Fig 1
8	Remove the diagnostics connection (11) from the holder (1).	To do so, release the lock (10).
9	Remove holder (1).	To do so, guide the diagnostics connection (11) up and out of the holder (1).
10	Remove the diagnostics connection holder (3) from the holder (1).	If bracket (1) is replaced. To do so, remove screws (2).
11	Remove spring nut (4) from bracket (1).	If bracket (1) is replaced.
12	Install in the reverse order.
