| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Remove holder for hood cable release handle. | AR88.40-S-0002E | |
| 4 | Remove control unit (1). | ||
| 5 | Pull control unit (1) downward until electrical connectors (5, 6) are accessible. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (6). | ||
| 7 | Remove control unit (1). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 9 | Perform SCN coding of control unit (1). | When replacing the control unit (1). |
