Check
- Check condition of vehicle.
For the wheel alignment check all vehicle parts must be installed and the vehicle build completed ready to drive. Do not load the vehicle. The specified values for the vehicle are provided based on the actual values determined by the dimensional check system. The specified tolerances of vehicle specified values are only for the test. If the vehicle is adjusted, the specified values should be aimed for.
- Print out form for wheel alignment measurement.
If a visual wheel alignment measurement is performed.
- Check tires for wear pattern, tire tread depth and damage.
- Check rims for damage.
- Check tire pressure.
If necessary, Correct tire inflation pressure.
- Check vehicle underside for damage, corrosion of suspension parts, chassis parts and supporting body parts, leaks from major assemblies and lines.
- Raise front axle and check wheel bearing play without dial indicator.
- Check condition of the steering mechanism.
- Check front axle joints for play and check dust boots for damage.
- Check rear axle joints for play and check dust boots for damage.
- Check condition of shock absorbers and springs.
