| 1 | Remove cover above brake fluid expansion reservoir. | ||

| 3 | Unscrew cap on brake fluid expansion reservoir and suction off some brake fluid. | ||

| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (7) of right front brakepad wear sensor (S10/2). | When removal of brakepads (2) at front right. | |
| 6 | Remove electrical wiring harness of right front brakepad wear sensor (S10/2) from brake caliper (8). | When removal of brakepads (2) at front right. | |
| 7 | Remove brake hose (5) from holder (4). | ||
| 8 | Unscrew upper screw (1), replace with guide pin (6), and tighten guide pin (6) slightly. | Fig 2 | |
| 9 | Unscrew lower screw (1), replace with guide pin (6) and tighten guide pin (6) slightly. | Fig 2 | |
| 10 | Push brake caliper (8) with attached brake hose (5) to the side onto guide pin (6). | This will result in damage to the brake hose (5) and can impair its function. |

| 11 | Remove brakepads (2) from brake caliper (8). | ||
| 12 | Unclip retaining spring (3) from brake caliper (8) and remove. | When replacing retaining spring (3) or brake caliper (8). | |
| 13 | Pull right front brakepad wear sensor (S10/2) out of backing plate of brakepad (2). | When replacing brakepads (2) or when replacing front right brakepad wear sensor (S10/2). |

| 19 | Clean contact surfaces of brakepads (2) on brake caliper (8) and on brake pistons. | Otherwise the brake caliper (8) or the dust boots of the brake pistons can be damaged. |
