| 2 | Remove left cylinder head cover | AR01.20-P-5013MNA | |
| 3 | Remove camshaft positioner for right exhaust camshaft | AR05.20-P-7204MNA | |
| 4 | Remove camshaft positioner for left intake camshaft | AR05.20-P-7204MNA | |
| 5 | Remove sliding rail bolt pin (2) | Fig 2 | |

| 6 | Remove sliding rail bolt pin (4) | Fig 2 | |

| 7 | Pull out slide rail (1) and slide rail (3) upwards | ||
| 8 | Remove slide rail (5) on right cylinder head cover | ||
| 9 | Remove slide rail (6) on left cylinder head cover | ||
| 10 | Check slide rails (1, 3, 5, 6) for damage | If damage is present ↓ Remove slide rails (1, 3, 5, 6) |
