	Remove/install
1	Remove oil pan.	Engine 176 in model 463 up to model year 2019	AR01.45-P-7500MNF

2	Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.
3	Remove connection fitting.	Engine 178 in model 190

		: Install new sealing ring and wet with engine oil.
		Bolt, connection fitting to oil pump	*BA18.10-P-1008-01V

4	Remove screws (2) in reverse numerical order to tightening procedure.	Tightening procedure	AR18.10-P-6020-01MNA
		: Tighten screws (2) in numerical order of tightening procedure.

		: Install new sealing ring and wet with engine oil.

6	Press together clamping device of the oil pump chain (6).
7	Tilt oil pump (3), remove oil pump chain (6) from oil pump gear, and remove oil pump (3) in downward direction.

		: Fill oil pump (3) with engine oil before installation so that oil is delivered at the initial startup.
8	Remove clamping device of the oil pump chain (6).	If oil pump (3) is replaced.

	Check
9	Check tensioning device of the oil pump chain (6) for damage.	If damage is present: ↓ Replace tensioning device of the oil pump chain (6).

10	Check oil pump chain (6), oil pump gear, and gearwheel of oil pump drive on crankshaft for damage.	If damage is present: ↓ Replace oil pump chain (6), oil pump (3), and crankshaft.

11	Install in the reverse order.
	Concluding tasks
	Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness
