| 3 | Disconnect Electrical connection (9) | If installed. |

| 4 | Remove expansion rivets (2, 4) from fender liner (3, 5) and expansion rivet (6) on left and right on bumper (1) | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector on frame wiring harness and front bumper (X2638) | ||
| 6 | Detach fender liner (3, 5) only until bolts (7, 8) are accessible | Fig 3 | |
| 7 | Remove bolts (7, 8) | ||
| 8 | Loosen bumper (1) from fenders (10) | ||
| 9 | Unscrew bolts (13) from bumper (1) | ||
| 10 | Carefully loosen catch hooks (14) in sequence from mounting rail (15) starting at one side with screwdriver | Carefully pull bumper (1) toward front when detaching catch hooks (14). |

| 11 | Remove bumper (1) toward front with aid of helper | ||
