1	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-0100CW
2	Remove rear wheel		AR40.10-P-1102A
3	Relieve pressure of air springs using vehicle diagnosis system
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
4	Unscrew nut (4) from rear axle shaft (14)		AR35.30-P-0621OLC
5	Remove brake disk (5)		AR42.10-P-0220EWE
6	Remove screw/bolt (18)	Bolt, RPM sensor to wheel carrier	*BA42.30-P-1001-02K
7	Remove screw (19)
8	Remove bracket (8) with RPM sensor (17) from wheel carrier (7) and place with connected electric lines (20) to one side
9	Raise wheel carrier (7) using major assembly mount and support plate until rear axle shaft (14) is horizontal

		Tighten threaded connections of tie rod (9), thrust arm (10), camber strut (11) and strut rod (12) as well as torsion bar linkage (15), shock absorber (6) and the spring link (13). The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with a multi-socket tooth profile is fitted.

14	Remove shock absorber (6) from spring control arm (13)	Do not tighten the bolted connection yet. The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with a multi-socket tooth profile is fitted.

15	Detach stabilizer linkage (15) from spring control arm (13)	Do not tighten the bolted connection yet. The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with a multi-socket tooth profile is fitted.

17	Remove spring link (13) from wheel carrier (7)	Do not tighten the bolted connection yet. The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with a multi-socket tooth profile is fitted.

18	Remove wheel carrier (7) from rear axle shaft (14)	If the rear axle shaft (14) in the wheel carrier (7) is firmly seated. ↓ Detach rear axle shaft (14) from wheel carrier (7).	AR35.30-P-0115-03OLC

19	Press new rear axle shaft flange into angular contact ball bearing up to end stop	When replacing the wheel carrier (7). The new wheel carrier (7) is supplied with angular contact ball bearings only. The angular contact ball bearing need not be removed from the new wheel carrier (7).	AR35.20-P-0130OLC
20	Detach brake cover plate (16) from wheel carrier (7)	When replacing the wheel carrier (7).
