	Remove/install

2	Remove corresponding complete rear wheel		AR40.10-P-1102A
3	Detach collar nut of rear axle shaft (37)	Replace collar nut and secure after tightening.

4	Detach plastic cover from spring control arm
5	Lift up wheel carrier (7) until rear axle shaft (37) is almost horizontal	Tighten the threaded connection of the strut rod (5), camber strut (2), thrust arm (3) and tie rod (4).

6	Detach camber strut (2) from wheel carrier (7)	Screw on bolted connection loosely.
7	Detach thrust arm (3) from wheel carrier (7)	Screw on bolted connection loosely.
8	Detach tie rod (4) from wheel carrier (7)	Screw on bolted connection loosely.
9	Detach torque strut (5) from wheel carrier (7)	Screw on bolted connection loosely.
10	Unclip electric line of RPM sensor from holder on wheel carrier (7) and holder on wheel arch

12	Unclip electric line of damping valve unit on rear axle from holder on wheel carrier (7) and holder on wheel arch
13	Lower wheel carrier (7)	Lift up wheel carrier (7) until rear axle shaft (37) is almost horizontal.
14	Fold down wheel carrier (7) and pull rear axle shaft (37) out of rear axle shaft flange	If the rear axle shaft (37) is difficult to remove ↓ Press rear axle shaft (37) out of rear axle shaft flange.	AR35.30-P-0115-03OLC

15	Pry rear axle shaft (37) out of rear axle differential (50)	Do not rest the assembly lever on the protective ring (37a). Support assembly lever, e.g. using socket wrench on rear axle differential (50).
16	Remove rear axle shaft (37)	Replace retaining ring (37o) on inner splined profile.
17	Check constant velocity joints	With axial or radial play ↓ Replace rear axle shaft (37).
18	Check boots (37m)	If leaky or damaged ↓ Replace the boot (37m) concerned.	AR35.30-P-0662-01OLC
