	Remove
1.1	Remove cover (2).	Model 907 with code FF8 (1-DIN slot at front under roof lining) except code FE9 (1-DIN slot under cockpit, passenger side) The cover (2) is no longer required and must be disposed of properly.
1.2	Remove cover (3).	Model 907 with code FE9 (1-DIN slot under cockpit, passenger side) except code FF8 (1-DIN slot at front under roof lining) The cover (3) is no longer required and must be disposed of properly.
	Install
2	Connect electrical connectors (5) with digital tachograph (1).
3	Replace buffer battery of digital tachograph (1).	When replacing the buffer battery, the power supply from the vehicle must be guaranteed. Otherwise commissioning of the digital tachograph (1) is not possible. Do not install the digital tachograph (1) yet	AR54.61-D-0009TS
4	Retrofit digital tachograph (1).	Fit digital tachograph (1) to device installation slot (4) and press in until it latches noticeably into place.
5	Enter special equipment into online vehicle data card.	Designation of relevant special equipment "Code JD2 (EU digital tachograph, with download capability)" or code J19 (Tachograph, 1 day/2 drivers, automatic (EC)) Delete existing code JV6 (Pre-installation for tachograph).
6	Carry out SCN coding on electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS).	Do not yet remove vehicle diagnosis system.	AR54.21-D-0015TS
7	Carry out SCN coding on instrument cluster (IC) control unit.	Do not yet remove vehicle diagnosis system.	AR54.21-D-0015TS
8	Have initial calibration performed by authorized personnel.	Observe the operator's manual included with the digital tachograph (1).
9	Remove vehicle diagnosis system.		AD00.00-D-2000-06TS
	Check
10	Perform tachograph inspection.	Observe national legal requirements for tachograph testing.
