Remove/Install Piston B08 - AR27.50-P-0618EWM

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.		 AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.		 AS00.40-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove drive shaft (1), planetary gear set 1 (2) with multidisk brake B08 (3).   AR27.50-P-0625EWM
2 Remove multiplate clutch K81 (10).   AR27.50-P-0622EWM
3.1 Remove torque converter housing (4) from support fixture (5). Transmission 725.0 (except 725.007/017/037/047)

3.2 Detach adapter housing from assembly device. Transmission 725.007/017/037/047 Transmission 725.1

4 Install pressure device (9) to pistons B08 (6) and push down onto disk spring (8) until snap ring (7) is exposed. IMPORTANT Check for correct position of SPECIAL TOOL pressure device (9).

5 Remove snap ring (7). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that it is installed at the correct position.  
6 Remove disk spring (8). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that it is installed at the correct position.  
7 Remove piston B08 (6). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that it is installed at the correct position.  
MEASURING Measure     
8 Measure clearance of piston B08 (6) and adjust, if necessary.   AR27.51-P-7230-02EWM
    Clearance in multidisk brake B08 *BE27.51-P-1003-01E 
    SPECIAL TOOL Pressure cylinder Fig 7
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of drifts Fig 5
    SPECIAL TOOL Pressing tool Fig 3
    SPECIAL TOOL Parallel support Fig 8
9 Install in the reverse order.
