ADJUSTMENT VALUES FOR MULTIDISK CLUTCH/MULTIDISK BRAKE

- Position torque converter housing with B08 clutch on workshop press.
Mount thrust cylinder with
drifts on
thrust device (1).
Place thrust device (1) on disk pack and use workshop press to subject to a force of 600 N.
Place parallel gauges (4) on internal plate carrier, place depth gauge (3) flat on parallel gauges (4) and on end disk (5) and reset to 0 mm.
Remove thrust device (1) from disk pack.
Place parallel gauges (4) on internal plate carrier.
- Pull end disk (5) up against retaining ring, move depth gauge (3) up to end disk (5) and read off and note down value.
- Compare actual value with specified value from adjustment values table and set clearance using an appropriate retaining ring.
