Disassemble/Assemble Output Shaft - AR27.50-P-0560MFC

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

DISASSEMBLING Disassemble     
1 Disassemble transmission housing.   AR27.40-P-0510MFC 
2 Disassemble output shafts (60, 80).   AR27.50-P-0550-03MFC 
    IMPORTANT The o not mix up components of output shafts (60, 80).  
    Mark the location and position of the components relative to each other before disassembling.  
    SPECIAL TOOL Clamping pliers Fig 12
    SPECIAL TOOL Collet chuck Fig 8
    SPECIAL TOOL Puller Fig 1
    SPECIAL TOOL Pulling arms Fig 3
    SPECIAL TOOL Puller Fig 4
    SPECIAL TOOL Puller, two-arm Fig 5
    SPECIAL TOOL Pliers Fig 6
INSPECT Check     
3 Check all parts for damage and wear, replace if necessary. If there is visible damage,

replace the engaged gears.
 
    Replace gears on hollow shaft AR27.50-P-0650MFC 
    Replace gears on drive shaft AR27.50-P-0550MFC 
ASSEMBLING Assemble     
4 Lubricate all parts with transmission oil.    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) (specification 236.21)   BB00.40-P-0236-21A
5 Assemble output shafts (60, 80).   AR27.50-P-0550-02MFC 
    IMPORTANT Ensure correct installation position of synchronizer units (67, 74, 86, 93, 97).
