The following special tools are required:
pliers,
puller (02),
collet (01),
puller (04) and
thrust pieces.
1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th gear output shaft
An assistant is required for the entire work procedure.
Replace retaining rings (66, 73) after each removal.
Plug thrust piece onto output shaft (60).
Position collet (01) on rolling-element bearing (62).
- Mount
puller (02) onto
collet (01) and detach rolling-element bearing (62).
- Remove ratchet wheel (63),
idler gear for 5th gear (64) and needle bearing (65).
- Remove snap ring (66).
- Detach idler gear for 1st gear (68) and synchronizer unit (67) using
puller (04) and
thrust piece (03).
- Remove needle bearing (69) and spacer ring (70).
- Remove idler gear for 2nd gear (71) and the needle bearing (72).
- Remove snap ring (73).
- Pry off idler gear for 4th gear (75) with synchronizer unit (74).
- Unclip needle bearing (76) from output shaft (60) and remove together with thrust plate (77).
Fit thrust piece into output shaft (60) and detach rolling-element bearing (78) from output shaft (60).
Output shaft for 3rd, 6th, 7th and reverse gear
The following special tools:
Puller (04),
puller, two-arm (05),
puller arms,
collet (01),
puller (02),
pliers and
thrust pieces.
An assistant is required for the entire work procedure.
Replace snap rings (85, 96) after each removal.
Plug thrust piece (03) onto output shaft (80).
Place collet (01) onto rolling-element bearing (82G).
- Mount
puller (02) onto
collet (01) and detach rolling-element bearing (82G).
- Remove idler gear for 7th gear (83) and needle bearing (84) from output shaft (80).
- Remove snap ring (85) using pliers.
Plug thrust piece (03) onto output shaft (80).
- Detach idler gear for 3rd gear (87) and synchronizer unit (86) using
puller (04) from output shaft (80).
- Remove idler gear for reverse gear (90), needle bearing (91), spacer sleeve (92) with needle bearing (94) and the axial needle roller bearing (95) from the output shaft (80).
- Remove snap ring (96).
Plug thrust piece (03) onto output shaft (80).
- Detach idler gear for 6th gear (98) and synchronizer unit (97) using
two-arm puller (05) from output shaft (80).
Mount puller arms onto
two-arm puller.
- Unclip needle bearing (99) and remove from output shaft (80).
Plug thrust piece (03) onto output shaft (80).
Place collet (01) onto rolling-element bearing (82K).
- Mount
puller (02) onto
collet (01) and detach rolling-element bearing (82K).
