Disassemble/Assemble Input Shaft - AR27.50-P-0550MFC

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

DISASSEMBLING Disassemble     
1 Disassemble transmission.   AR27.10-P-0510MFC
2 Unclip needle bearing (31) and detach from drive shaft (30).    
3 Detach needle bearing (32) from drive shaft (30).    
INSPECT Check     
4 Check needle bearing (31, 32) for damage and wear, replace if necessary.    
5 Using suitable tool, pry off fixed gear (33) from drive shaft (30).    
6 Pry off fixed gear (35) together with sensor rotor (34) from drive shaft (30).    
7 Pry off sensor rotor (34) from fixed gear (35). SPECIAL TOOL Installer Fig 2
ASSEMBLING Assemble     
8 Press sensor rotor (34) flush onto notching on the gear (35). IMPORTANT Use new sensor rotor (34).

9 Press sensor rotor (34) with fixed gear (35) onto drive shaft (30). SPECIAL TOOL Sleeve Fig 3
10 Press fixed gear (33) onto drive shaft (30). SPECIAL TOOL Sleeve Fig 3
11 Slide needle bearing (32) onto drive shaft (30).    
12 Slide needle bearing (31) onto drive shaft (30) and clip into place.    
13 Press deep-groove ball bearing onto drive shaft (30).    
14 Assemble transmission.   AR27.10-P-0510MFC
