Replace Pilot Bushing - AR41.10-P-0250LF

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.		 AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
Notice  Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-P-0001-01KOA
Notice  Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process   AH00.00-P-0020-01A
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove propeller shaft (1).   AR41.10-P-0050LF 
2 Check sealing lips on front and rear pilot bushing (10) for wear and damage. If problems exist,
↓
Replace corresponding pilot bushing (10).		  
3 Separate propeller shaft (1) at slide joint.    
4 Remove flex disk (12).   AR41.10-P-0040-01LF 
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Drift for releasing the fitting sleeves in the flexible couplings   WF58.50-P-4110-01A
    SPECIAL TOOL Counterholder Fig 1
5 Remove pilot bushing (10).   AR41.10-P-0250-02LF 
INSTALLING Install     
6 Pack cavity of front and rear pilot bushing (10) with grease.    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Multipurpose grease (NLGI Class 2)   BB00.40-P-0267-00A
7 Press in pilot bushing (10).   AR41.10-P-0250-03LF 
    Model 217.364/377/378/379/382/383/384/385/386/477/478/479/482/483 *BE41.10-P-1001-04B

    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 222 Flexible coupling to rear axle differential or rear propeller shaft *BA41.10-P-1002-01J 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 222 Flexible coupling to transmission or front propeller shaft *BA41.10-P-1001-01J 
    SPECIAL TOOL Counterholder Fig 1
9 Connect propeller shaft (1) to slide joint.   AR41.10-P-0050-05LF 
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Long-life grease (NLGI grade 2)   BB00.40-P-0266-02A
10 Install propeller shaft (1).   AR41.10-P-0050LF
