	Remove
1	Secure vehicle on the lifting platform and raise	Model 190	AR00.60-P-0100RG
		Model 197	AR00.60-P-0100RQ
2	Detach rear complete wheel		AR40.10-P-1100RQ
3	Detach holder (2)	If installed.
4	Lift wheel carrier (3) using telescopic lifter and transmission platform until rear axle shaft is almost horizontal.	While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surfaces of all aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.

5.1	Unscrew nut of upper transverse control arm (1) at hub/rotor assembly (3) and pry off upper transverse control arm (1) from hub/rotor assembly (3)	Model 197
		The hub/rotor assembly (3) must be secured against tilting.
		When unscrewing the nut, counterhold at the ball studs with interior torx.

5.2	Unscrew screw/bolt of upper transverse control arm (1) at hub/rotor assembly (3)	Model 190
		The hub/rotor assembly (3) must be secured against tilting.
6	Lower telescopic lifter	Model 190
		It must be ensured that lines that are attached to the suspension components are not subjected to tension or kinked. In order to prevent damage.
		The hub/rotor assembly (3) must be secured against tilting.

7	Unscrew screws/bolts of upper transverse control arm (1) on transverse control arm brackets and remove upper transverse control arm (1)	The transverse control arm bracket may only be detached for repair work on the body. Otherwise, the thread in the frame may be damaged.
		Model 190
		The spring must be free of tension so as to be able to remove the rear screw/bolt.
8	Perform visual check of elastomer bearing and upper ball joint of the upper transverse control arm (1) and check for wear	If a problem arises ↓ Replace upper transverse control arm (1).
	Install
9	Lift wheel carrier (3) using telescopic lifter and transmission platform until rear axle shaft is almost horizontal.	Model 190

10	Mount upper transverse control arm (1) and tighten screws/bolts of upper transverse control arm (1) at transverse control arm brackets	The upper transverse control arm (1) must be preinstalled also at hub/rotor assembly (3) before tightening the screws/bolts. So that the elastomer bearings are not under tension in ready-to-drive condition.
		Screws/bolts and nuts of suspension components must always be replaced.
		Bolt, upper transverse control arm to body	*BA35.20-P-1001-07D
11.1	Tighten nut of upper transverse control arm (1) at hub/rotor assembly (3)	Model 197
		The hub/rotor assembly (3) must be secured against tilting.
		Screws/bolts and nuts of suspension components must always be replaced.
		When tightening the nut, counterhold at the ball studs with interior torx.
		Nut, upper transverse control arm to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1002-07D
11.2	Tighten screw/bolt of upper transverse control arm (1) at hub/rotor assembly (3)	Model 190
