REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove SAM control unit with fuse and relay module in rear and place to one side with connected electric lines NOTES It must be ensured that electric lines are not stretched or kinked. In order to prevent damage. AR54.21-P-1271RGR
2 Remove left and/or right roll bar   AR91.50-P-2000RGR
3.1 Remove HERMES control unit with bracket and place to one side with connected electric lines Only when removing left header bow drive (1).
Model 190.4 with code 360 (HERMES UMTS)
Model 190.4 with code 362 (HERMES communications module LTE)
NOTES It must be ensured that electric lines are not stretched or kinked.
In order to prevent damage.

3.2 Remove soft top mechanism control unit with bracket and place to one side with connected electric lines Only when removing right header bow drive (1).
NOTES It must be ensured that electric lines are not stretched or kinked.
In order to prevent damage.

4 Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) on drive for header bow (1)    
5 Mark position of rear soft top lock (4) using suitable means    
6.1 Remove screw (5) and place left rear soft top lock (4) with connected sensor to one side Only when removing left header bow drive (1).
NOTES It must be ensured that electric lines are not stretched or kinked.
In order to prevent damage.
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, rear mount to side drive flap *BA77.33-P-1001-02D 
    Quick-acting adhesive, Loctite 270 *BR00.45-Z-1008-02A 
6.2 Remove screw (5) and remove right rear soft top lock (4) Only when removing right header bow drive (1).  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, rear mount to side drive flap *BA77.33-P-1001-02D 
    Quick-acting adhesive, Loctite 270 *BR00.45-Z-1008-02A 
7 Remove screws (3) on drive for header bow (1)    
8 Remove header bow drive (1)    
9 Install in the reverse order
