1	Prepare test valve block (1)		AR77.37-P-4205-01RGR

2	Remove soft top control hydraulic unit (A7/5) from soft top crossmember and set down on a dry cloth in vehicle interior with connected hydraulic lines (11, 12, 13, 14) and connected electric lines	Protect vehicle interior against leaking hydraulic fluid. Otherwise, the vehicle interior can be contaminated by leaking hydraulic fluid. Leaked hydraulic fluid causes an unpleasant odor that is very difficult to eliminate.	AR77.37-P-3500RGR
3	Remove cable tie (3)	Cable ties must be replaced.
4	Remove connection plate (4)	Do not remove hydraulic lines (11, 12, 13, 14) from soft top control hydraulic unit (A7/5).

5	Open shutoff valves (9) on test valve block (1)	Valve block	Fig 1
6	Remove corresponding stop plugs (5) from test valve block (1) and remove hydraulic line no. 11 (11) and hydraulic line no. 13 (13) or hydraulic line no. 12 (12) and hydraulic line no. 14 (14) from hydraulic unit valve block (2) and connect to test valve block (1)		AR77.37-P-4205-02RGR
		Only remove stop plugs (5) from test valve block (1) directly before reconnection and immediately close connections in hydraulic unit valve block (2). Otherwise, the vehicle interior can be soiled with hydraulic fluid that runs out. Do not pull hydraulic lines (11, 12, 13, 14) too hard. The hydraulic lines (11, 12, 13, 14) can otherwise be damaged. 7	Fix connection plate (6) into place on test valve block (1)	Ensure that connection plate (6) is seated correctly. Otherwise the hydraulic lines (11, 12, 13, 14) can detach during the pressure test and hydraulic fluid may spray out of the connections.

8	Connect adapter with connected test line (8) to corresponding connection of hydraulic unit valve block (2)		AR77.37-P-4205-02RQ

9		Connect adapter line (7) to corresponding connection of hydraulic unit valve block (2) Observe line coding on hydraulic unit valve block (2).	AR77.37-P-4205-02RQ

10	Install connection plate (4)	Ensure that connection plate (4) is seated correctly. Otherwise, test line (8) and adapter line (7) can detach during pressure test and hydraulic fluid can spray out of connections.

11	Turn soft top control hydraulic unit (A7/5) to installation position and fix this in position using a suitable tape	To perform the pressure test, the soft top control hydraulic unit (A7/5) must be in the installation position.
12	Close emergency operation valve (10)	The pressure test can now be started.

13	Disconnect in reverse order
14	Bleed hydraulic system by opening and closing the soft top multiple times
