The parking systems make it easier to find a parking space while also making it easier to enter and exit parking spaces or garages.

The parking system uses environment sensors to locate and measure parking spaces, calculate a suitable route and assist the driver when entering and exiting a parking space as well as when maneuvering. The distance to potential obstacles is indicated to the driver visually and acoustically.

Parking systems intervene partly autonomously or autonomously into the driving and control (e.g. acceleration, braking) of the vehicle, while also warning the driver about critical situations.
