	Remove
1	Move front seats forward and up
2	Remove rear seat cushion
			AR91.12-P-1021GQC
3	Remove folding rear backrest
			AR91.12-P-1721GQC
4	Remove all door sill moldings
			AR68.30-P-4100GQ
5	Remove outer door sills from front entrances
			AR88.80-P-1001GQ
		Outer door sills at front entrances are no longer required.
6	Remove lower paneling from left and right B-pillars
			AR68.30-P-4700GQ
7	Pull rear floor covering (2) out below lower C-pillar paneling (5) and fold over rear floor covering (2)
8	Unscrew nuts (4) and detach cable duct paneling (3) from driver and passenger side
9	Remove cover (6) from rear control unit (N10/8)
	Install
10	Retrofit left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48)		AN82.20-P-0001-04GQC
		Self-adhesive felt strips 25 2 mm	*BR00.45-Z-1098-02A
		Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
11	Retrofit wiring harness for left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48)		AN82.20-P-0001-03GQC
		Right rear seat ground point	*BA00.19-P-1018-01G
		Self-adhesive felt strips 25 2 mm	*BR00.45-Z-1098-02A

12	Install remaining parts
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
13	Attach note "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AN82.20-P-0001GQC" under field organization texts to design group 82
14	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)

15	Carry out variant coding using software calibration number (SCN)

		Rear control unit (N10/8)
16	Disconnect diagnostic system
	Check
17	Perform function test of left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48)	The illumination is switched on when the corresponding door is opened.
