| 5 | Detach and remove tie rod (1) from steering knuckle (4) | *BA35.20-P-1001-04M | |
| Check | |||
| 6 | Check tie rod (1) for condition and signs of damage | If damage is present: ↓ Replace tie rod (1). |

| 7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
