MODIFICATION NOTES

06.11.2017 The camber and caster on front axle in AMG vehicles are not adjustable. Operation step 9 and 12  
MEASURING Measure     
1 Prepare vehicle for wheel alignment check   AR40.20-P-0260SX 
2 Switch off easy entry/exit Model 205, 253 with code 275 (Driver's seat, electrically adjustable with memory function)
Model 213 with code 275 (Memory package)
 
3 Lower window of driver door    
4 Using the adapter, install the brake pedal retaining tool between the pedal and the driver seat IMPORTANT Protect contact surfaces of brake pedal jack with adapter for brake pedal jack on brake pedal and on driver's seat.
Otherwise, the brake pedal and driver's seat may be damaged.
The vehicle must not be loaded again during the remaining work procedure.

5 Check vehicle level at front and rear axles using electronic inclinometer   AR40.20-P-0301LW 
6 Attach Mercedes-Benz quick-clamp holders   AR40.20-P-0230SX 
7 Fit on measuring heads    
8 Perform initial measurement    
9 Compare determined values against specified values Assign suspension data Model 213 AR40.20-P-0203LWA

Assign suspension data Model 205
Model 205.064/086/087/264/286/287/364/386/387/464 /486/487, 213.064/088/089/264/288/289, 253.364/388/389/964/988/989 The camber and caster on the front axle are not adjustable.
Model 205 (except 205.386/387/486/487) Model 213 (except 213.088/089/288/289) Model 253 (except 253.388/389/988/989) The camber on the rear axle is not adjustable.
The toe-out angle cannot be adjusted.

11 Adjust rear-axle toe According to results of initial measurement. AR40.20-P-0261LW 
12 Adjust camber and caster at the front axle According to results of initial measurement.

13 Adjust front axle toe According to results of initial measurement. AR40.20-P-0264LW 
14 Perform final measurement    
15 Detach measuring heads    
16 Detach Mercedes-Benz quick-clamping holders    
17 Remove brake pedal jack tool with its adapter    
18 Lock turntables and sliding platforms    
19 Drive vehicle off measuring system    
20 Switch on easy entry and exit feature Model 205, 253 with code 275 (Driver's seat, electrically adjustable with memory function)
Model 213 with code 275 (Memory package)
 
21 Check/correct headlamp adjustment Model 205, 253 AP82.10-P-8260E
