	Remove
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock (EZS)
2	Remove trims in trunk
			AR68.30-P-4600LW
3	Remove speaker amplifier control unit and place to one side with lines connected
		With CODE 810 (Sound system)	AR82.62-P-7720LW
4	Remove power closing unit for trunk lid and place to one side with lines connected
		With CODE 881 (Remote trunk closing)	AR80.40-P-1000LW
5	Remove rear SAM control unit (N10/8)	Except CODE 401 (Seat climate control for driver and front passenger) or CODE 540 (Power roller sun blind for rear window) or CODE 873 (Seat heater for driver and front passenger) or CODE 877 (Ambiance illumination) or CODE 881 (Remote trunk closing)
		Except CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50 kW variant (including plug-in))	AR54.21-P-1269LW
		With CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50 kW variant (including plug-in)) The rear SAM control unit (N10/8) is no longer required and it must be replaced by a new rear SAM control unit (N10/8) compatible with the LED taillamps.	AR54.21-P-1269LWH
6	Remove taillamps
		The taillamps are no longer required and are replaced with LED taillamps.	AR82.10-P-4905LW
	Install
7	Install rear SAM control unit (N10/8)	Except CODE 401 (Seat climate control for driver and front passenger) or CODE 540 (Power roller sun blind for rear window) or CODE 873 (Seat heater for driver and front passenger) or CODE 877 (Ambiance illumination) or CODE 881 (Remote trunk closing)
		Except CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50 kW variant (including plug-in))	AR54.21-P-1269LW
		With CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50 kW variant (including plug-in)) Install a new rear SAM control unit (N10/8) compatible with the LED taillamps.	AR54.21-P-1269LWH
8	Install LED taillamps (1)

9	Install wiring harness for LED taillamps (1)		AZ82.10-P-0005-01LWZ

10	Install speaker amplifier control unit

11	Install trunk lid power closing unit

12	Install paneling in trunk

13	Install remaining parts
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
14	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via Vehicle Documentation System (VeDoc)	Add:  Code 38O (Retrofitting LED rear lamps) Here it must be noted that a letter is in third place.
15	Attach "Retrofit LED taillamps as per AN82.10-P-0005LWZ retrofitted" note under field organization texts to DG 82
16	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)

17	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	"EZS" "Rear SAM control unit" "Instrument cluster"
18	Disconnect diagnostic system

	Check
