| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove engine cover (1). | ||

| 4 | Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter (2). | ||

| 6 | Remove cable for the hood catch from the cold air intake (3). | ||
| 7 | Remove cold air intake (3) from reinforcement (4). | ||

| 9 | Remove reinforcement (4). | AR62.30-P-1570LW | |

| 13 | Unclip retaining lugs (6) of the top air duct segment (7) from the fan unit (5) and place to one side. | ||
| 14 | Disconnect electrical connector (8) from the fan unit (5). | ||

| 16 | Remove front and center section of lower engine compartment linings. | AR61.20-P-1105LW | |
| 17 | Clip bottom air duct segment (11) out of both release tabs (10) of the fan unit (5) and bend downward at hinge function. | ||
| 18 | Lower vehicle. | ||
| 19 | Unhook fan unit (5) from cooler mounts and remove upward. | Do not damage coolant hoses. Leaks can occur otherwise. |

| 20 | Install in the reverse order. |
