2	Remove cover frame (1) from integrated head restraint		AR91.16-P-0300NKB
3	Remove paneling (2, 3) and cover (4)		AR91.18-P-1820NKC
4	Remove paneling (5, 6) from front seat frame	Model 205.0/2 with code 555 (AMG Performance seats) Model 253 with code 555 (AMG Performance seats)	AR91.10-P-1200LW

5	Detach seat cover (7) with padding from backrest and place to one side		AR91.18-P-1820NKC
6	Unclip retaining clips (10) between back shell (21) and felt and place lumbar support (8) with felt to one side	Clip remover	Figure
7	Unclip retaining clips (11)
8	Disconnect electrical connections (13)
9	Expose lumbar support adjustment control units (12) with compressed air line and place to one side	Ensure correct installation position of compressed air line.
10	Disconnect electrical connection (14)
11	Mark installation position of backrest inclination seat adjustment motor (16) and backrest inclination shaft (20)
12	Unscrew screw/bolt (15)	Bolt from seat adjustment motor for backrest inclination to backrest frame	*BA91.10-P-1006-02A
13	Slide backrest inclination seat adjustment motor (16) to one side (arrow A)
14	Remove screws/bolts (17, 18)	Bolt, seat backrest adjustment to backrest frame	*BA91.10-P-1003-02A
15	Remove screw/bolt (19) at backrest inclination shaft (20)	Counterhold nut of screw/bolt (19).
		Bolt to shaft of seat backrest adjustment	*BA91.10-P-1007-02A
16	Remove backrest inclination shaft (20) from back shell (21) at side and pull off backrest inclination seat adjustment motor (16)	Observe marking.
17	Remove back shell (21) and expose all electrical lines
18	Remove air cushion from multicontour backrest	When replacing the back shell (21).

19	Install in the reverse order
